Bluegrass Bass Club
June 10,  2006 Benton Kentucky

My name is Trent D. Decker and I am submitting this e-mail on behalf of our bass club, Bluegrass Bass Club, based in Louisville, Kentucky. Our club recently stayed at the Bel-Air Motel near the Kentucky Dam Village in Benton, Kentucky. Also staying in the motel on Saturday, June 10th was Marty Stone, whom your company sponsors as a professional bass fisherman. Our bass club invited Marty Stone to our semi-annual cookout we have at the rear of the Bel-Air Motel that Saturday evening. To be quite honest, we really did not think he would have the time to attend. Low and behold, around 10:00 pm Mr. Stone appeared at our gathering. The reason I am sending this e-mail and explaining these items in detail is because our club would like to let your company know that Mr. Stone represents your company with utmost respect and professionalism. He sat down, answered question after question, told stories, talked about his sponsors and their products, talked about life on the road, his family, and many, many more issues. For just a couple of hours he was essentially a good friend and felt like a part of our bass club. It was very nice of him to take time out of his tough schedule to sit and talk with us. Right before our get together was coming to a close he thanked us for letting him be part of our gathering and how much he really enjoyed sitting down and talking with us. He shook all our hands right before we departed for the evening. Powers Swain Chevrolet can be comfortable in knowing that Mr. Stone represents your company very well.

Bradshaw Chevrolet thanks you for your great idea

Hello Hal,----- Hey I just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for a great idea!!!

For the last 8 years I have been really involved in bass tournaments. Everything from freelance writing, seminars, working for the American Bass Assc., competing on western pro circuits and trying to pay for college . For the last 5+ years I have been employed as a sales consultant at Bradshaw Chevrolet in Cedar City Utah. Now Utah probably doesn't sound like hog heaven, but you would be surprised!!!  Over the years Bradshaw Chevrolet has sponsored me with a demo, and gas card so I could pursue various pro circuits and regional team events on Lake Mead and Powell. Eventually I took over most of our soft sales (pub relations, community events etc.) I had the idea of sponsoring a couple of local anglers, but Mark Bradshaw our principle, never took the idea to seriously until he read your article in Edge Magazine. It was like a light went off, and he said "Jamie let's do something like these guy's". Well needless to say we did!! I tried to find as much info on your program as possible, even tried to call Marty. In the just over 2 years  Team Bradshaw Chevrolet has jumped to approx 20 anglers most of which don't even live within 150 miles of us. We have sold over 50 units easy based on referrals from these top notch people. A couple of our anglers secured some nice paychecks over the last couple of years. Our team combined won close to a hundred thousand last year on the heels of top western pro Roy Hawk SLC Utah. And Tim Klinger Boulder City NV. This spring Tim also won the WAL-MART OPEN FLW stop in Ark. for a cool $200,000.00 in winnings!!  Russ Bassdozer owner of Bassdozer.com and a VP with one of my other sponsors (Yamamoto Baits ) got involved in our program and it's been awesome-- your idea on the other end of the country has not only helped our sales in a small community, but has allowed me to self actualize my passion with my everyday job!!!  It has been a win win win for everybody including this community, and I just wanted to thank you guy's for your vision, you have a great web site and a awesome reputation, Thanks again!!

                                               Respectfully,
